Solar cell is one of the most important source technologies for the future energy source in Japan and Germany, as well as in Korea. The manufacturing technology for the solar cell requires various technologies, in order to enhance the efficiency of the cell and module, Diverse tests have also been carried out during the processing, in order to reduce the rate of errors.

The solar cell scribing system KORTherm provides not only the technologies suitable for the production of all kinds of solar cells, including the membrane solar cell such as CIGS/CIS, but it can also fulfill the needs of the customers by utilizing the diverse experiences gained in supplying laser scribing systems.

The laser µ-FAB for edge isolation, which KORTherm Science provides, is confifured in a way not only suitable for the systems with R&D purposes, but it is also appropriate for a mass-production system, which requires the processing of more than 120 units per hour. In terms of the membrane patterning for CIGS/CIS and etc., we have provided the laser patterning systems required by the customers, through technological cooperation with Samsung, LG and other companies.
